The last day of 2002 and so far the Dream Roundup has collected 1,378
dreams in 48 states. Not bad for the first 7 months of this project!
Our vision of 1,000,000 dreams has a way to go, but I am confident of our
objective. Most visions are a process, and we are committed to pursuing
consistent activities to produce the result. Add faith, trust, and belief
to that consistent activity and you have the ingredients of a
miracle. Miracles happen when you believe. Here are some examples that
make my heart sing.
Yesterday I went to a massage therapist who participated in the Dream
Roundup. When I entered her home she proudly displayed her dream: a hydrotherapy
spa with a swimming component. She was very proud of the result and the benefit
it will produce for others.
Here's another: A friend of mine started a summer camp for kids. The
camp had been quite successful. Her dream was a school. Guess
what? She has that school and is now teaching kids year-round. It
was a lot of work, but her dream came true.
A young assistant golf professional became familiar with the Dream Round-Up
and had the dream of becoming the head professional at a brand new exclusive
golf course. Hundreds of PGA professionals from all over the country
applied, but guess who got the job. The person who wrote down that dream
every day and participated in the Round-Up.
Rob Spear referred a lady to the Round-Up who needed to sell her house in a
week. She wrote that specific dream and guess what? Her dream came
true in less than seven days. When I talked to her on the phone
afterwards, she was bouncing off the walls!
The process works. Dreams do come true. Here's a how-to
refresher:
Clearly state your dream. Dreams need to clarify. Fuzzy dreams produce
fuzzy results. Specific dreams produce specific results.
Write your dream. There is power in this. It uses more of your senses
and drives your dream into your subconscious mind. I recommend writing it
every day.
Trust/Believe/Faith: You must believe. Your thoughts become
your reality. Positive thoughts, positive results. There are challenging
days. I ignore them and focus on the productive days. Rewrite your
dream every day and stay open to the possibilities.
Take Action: All good things need action. Activities are the
key to any successful dream. You will notice thoughts and coincidences
appear. When they do, embrace them. You will be amazed what will
happen in your life. Three bricks (activities) a day will change your
life.
Remember, anything is possible. Anything. If you had a dream
come true and want to share, please send us an e-mail. We would love to
hear from you. The New Year is a great time to renew your dreams and add a
new one. Make that your New Year's Resolution: Make it your habit to
clarify your dreams, and write them down, every day. Thank you for participating
in the Dream Roundup.
May all your dreams come true.
