Growth and Change

A funny thing happened as my husband and I buried a dear friend last week. We'd taken him in 9 months ago to support him in his fight with a serious illness. His passing was a powerful experience and a blessed relief for all, including him. The day after he died, I turned the page on my desk calendar and pulled out the notebook in which I write my dreams. I've reviewed it daily, so none of the things I'd written were new to me. But to my surprise, quite a few were no longer relevant. And, there were some new dreams itching to be written down. I smiled and flipped to a fresh piece of paper.
Your life is full of challenges and experiences that can change your outlook, and your goals, profoundly. As you grow, make sure your dreams grow with you.

~Karen

FROM THE BOARDROOM
Your Input Please

Since the official launch of the Dream Round-Up in April of this year, we've had many inspiring and heartwarming letters and e-mails from you. And now, with the Round-Up a tender 6 months old, we're pleased with the growth this grass roots effort has shown. It's still young, though, and worthy of some tender loving care. That's why we're sending you the following survey. It's your dreams we're trying to help you cultivate, so we need to know if we're really helping, or if there's something you'd like us to do in this newsletter that'd be more inspiring, more helpful in keeping you on the path to your dreams. So: Give the survey a few minutes of your time, then push it back to us. Your input will help us help you make all your dreams come true.

The Dream Round-Up Survey

Please answer the following as candidly as possible. Your replies will be completely confidential. We'll ask for your input regularly, to ensure that we're helping you achieve your dreams.

1. What's happened since you planted your dreams? Have you had positive results that tell you you're on the path to achieving your dreams? Tell us as much, or as little, as you like.

2. How often have you read, reviewed, rewritten, or thought about your dreams in the average week since you joined the Round-Up? How does this compare with before you planted your dreams?

3. Would you be interested in receiving an inspiring quote on a regular basis, to help keep you on track?

4. How many people have you inspired to participate in planting their dreams? To your knowledge, what has been their experience since then?

5. Would you be interested in a scheduled on-line chat with our Board members? Is there anyone in particular on the Board you'd like to communicate with in this way? Would you prefer to communicate with Board members confidentally, via e-mail? Or in the newsletter?

6. If you could have any particular subject addressed in the newsletter that would help you get closer to your dreams, what would it be? Finance? Family issues? Technical help? Relationships? Motivation? Professional contacts? Inspiration? Something else? Please be specific, and give details if you'd like.

7. Do you feel that your life, and your physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual health have improved since you've acknowledged your dreams by writing them down?

8. If a reader sent in a question to the board, and that question was published in the newsletter, and the subject of the question was right up your alley, would you be interested in submitting a reply, for publication in the newsletter? Would you be interested in sharing your expertise with other readers, or becoming a mentor?

9. Why, in your view, is there an increase in dreams coming true when they're written down?

10. What can we do to help you?
